How does NextGenDigital work? +
Clients post gigs or projects, freelancers apply or bid, and once terms are agreed, work begins. Payments are processed securely, with a 15% commission and 5% service fee deducted per order.
What is the 15% commission? +
We charge a 15% commission on every completed order as our fee for connecting clients and freelancers and maintaining the platform. This is deducted from the total order value before payout.
What is the 5% service fee? +
The 5% service fee covers operational costs like payment processing and platform upkeep. It’s separate from the commission and added to each order. VAT (e.g., 19%) may apply if we’re not under the small business exemption.
When do freelancers get paid? +
Freelancers receive payouts [e.g., weekly/monthly] after an order is completed, minus the 15% commission and 5% service fee. Payments are sent to your registered account via [e.g., Stripe].
Can I cancel an order? +
Clients can cancel within 14 days of ordering, unless the freelancer has started work with your consent. Email us at info@next-gen-digital.de with your order number to cancel.
